As of Tuesday, a total of 582 medals have been awarded to outstanding athletes from across Asia.
China is leading the pack, showcasing its sporting prowess with a staggering 197 medals.
The Chinese contingent has triumphed with an impressive haul of 161 gold, 90 silver, and 46 bronze medals.
Japan follows closely behind, securing the second position on the medal table. Japanese athletes have garnered 133 gold medals, 47 silver medals, and 50 bronze medals.
In the third spot, we find South Korea, who have displayed remarkable skill and determination with a total of 139 medals, consisting of 32 gold, 42 silver, and 65 bronze.
India stands fourth, demonstrating their athletic prowess with 69 medals. Among these are 15 gold medals, 26 silver medals, and 28 bronze medals.
Uzbekistan takes the fifth spot, showcasing 50 medals, including 14 gold, 15 silver, and 21 bronze medals.
Other countries on the medal table include Chinese Taipei in sixth place with 40 medals (12 gold, 10 silver, and 18 bronze), Thailand in seventh place with 40 medals (10 gold, 11 silver, and 19 bronze), and Bahrain in eighth place with 8 medals (7 gold, 1 silver).
Hong Kong China secures the ninth position with 45 medals in total, consisting of 6 gold, 15 silver, and 24 bronze.
Notably, out of the 45 participating countries in the 19th Asian Games, a remarkable 36 nations have already tasted medal success.
