RPP holding mass meeting in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has scheduled a mass protest gathering in Kathmandu for September 13th.

During a meeting held on Sunday, party leaders reached a consensus to organize a mass gathering to voice their demands, which include safeguarding Hinduism, reinstating a constitutional monarchy, reversing federalism, and launching investigations into various corruption scandals.

RPP leader Mohan Shrestha emphasized that the decision to convene this rally and meeting stems from their commitment to exert pressure on the government.

They seek to address concerns such as the government’s perceived indifference to the economic crisis, escalating unemployment rates, and rising prices.
