KANCHANPUR: A 35-year-old youth from Krishnapur Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur district was found dead four days after he went missing.
Kuber Damai, who was missing since Monday, was found buried some 500 meters away from his house on the bank of river, Inspector of Area Police Office Surya Bahadur Shahi said.
Locals had informed the police on Thursday evening after noticing the whereabouts of Kuber.
“The dead body is recovered from a ditch and is decayed,” Police Inspector Shahi said. Investigations are initiated to confirm whether he was murdered or died of other causes, he added.
The dead body is sent to Mahakali Provincial Hospital, Mahendranagar, for a postmortem.
