HoR meeting postponed till Monday

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned until Monday.

The meeting which was first postponed for one hour on Sunday was adjourned without sitting again.

The Parliament Secretariat informed that the meeting will be held on Monday at 11 am.

The opposition parties –CPN-UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party– have unitedly protested against the recently authenticated Citizenship Bill.
They have been arguing that the procedure of authentication of the Bill was wrong.

President Ramchandra Paudel approved the Bill that was lying unverified during the then President Bidya Devi Bhandari on May 31.
