All those involved in Bhutanese refugee fraud case should be punished: UML Chairman Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that the culprits in the Bhutanese refugee fraud case should not be forgiven.

Talking briefly to journalists after meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda at Singha Darbar on Thursday afternoon, Chairman Oli said that the party will not defend those who are guilty in the case.

“We are clear to the fact that innocent people should not be harassed, and the guilty should not escape,” Oli said, “We will not defend the guilty.”

It may be noted that CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has also been allegedly involved in this fraudulence.

UML Chairman Oli, however, said that his party would not remain silent if anyone tried to entrap the innocent ones.
