Fake Bhutanese refugee case: UML Secretary Rayamajhi’s son on remand for three days



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has allowed the police to detain former minister and CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi’s son Sandeep Rayamajhi for three days and investigate.

Leader Rayamajhi, along with his son Sandeep and others, is subject to investigation on the case relating to making fake Bhutanese refugees and collecting money from them.

Sandeep was arrested from Butwal on Wednesday, was flown to Kathmandu on Thursday, and presented before the court.

Police sources have informed that the police are preparing to arrest former minister Rayamajhi.
