Unified Socialist holding central committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: A central committee meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is taking place at Balkumari today.

The two-day central committee meeting of the party is taking place for the first time after the election of the House of Representatives and Province Assembly.

Discussion would be held on political report to be presented by Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal and organisational report to be presented by General-Secretary Dr Beduram Bhusal in the meeting.

The meeting would discuss about the role to be played by the party regarding latest political development and formulation of future action plan, evaluation of government’s performance, said Chief of Party Publicity Department, Jagannath Khatiwada.

Similarly, the meeting would also approve decisions made by party’s different committees.

It is said that the meeting could also make some changes in the responsibilities of central leaders.
