Durga Prasai to announce “Civic govt” and “Sanatan Hindu Rastra”

KATHMANDU: Campaigner Durga Prasai, who is also a prominent medical entrepreneur has said he would announce the establishment of a “Civic Government” on December 16.

Prasai, known for advocating “Vedic Sanatan Dharma”, announced that on December 16, he will symbolically light a lamp in Basantapur in Kathmandu, signifying the creation of a Hindu nation based on these ancient principles.

Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu on Sunday, Prasai emphasized the importance of re-establishing the monarchy to ensure peace and unity in the country.

He mentioned, “The lamp lit in Mechi on February 13 (Falgun 1) will be ignited by the hand of the former monarch Gyanendra Shah in Basantapur, Kathmandu, marking the inception of a Hindu nation. This will not only fortify the ongoing people’s rebellion but also serve as a tangible manifestation for the impending system change.”

Prasai anticipated that the movement for systemic change will gather momentum starting February 13.

Despite his advocacy for monarchy, it’s noteworthy that the former king Shah did not participate in Prasai’s campaign-organized program in Balkhu, Kathmandu, on November 23, despite being in the capital.
