CPN (Unified Socialist) Secretariat meeting scheduled for Monday

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has announced the convening of a secretariat meeting on Monday to determine the new date for the party’s general convention.

Jagannath Khatiwada, Deputy General Secretary and Head of the Publicity Department, mentioned that the meeting is essential due to the need for rescheduling caused by a clash with the National Assembly elections.

Set to take place at the party’s central office in Aloknagar, Kathmandu, the meeting will delve into critical discussions, including inter-party directives. These discussions encompass the reassignment of leadership responsibilities, work division, and nominations to various committees.

Khatiwada highlighted that the meeting will also address the contemporary international situation, culminating in the formulation of a strategic plan outlining the party’s role moving forward.
