KATHMANDU: The National Youth Science Conference will take place in Kathmandu on September 16 this year.

The event targets youths between the 13-25 age group who want to do something in science at home, said the organizer Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO).

It has also called for applications from interested people. Prior to this, to become a part of the conference, a workshop on the concept paper writing and presentation will take place through distance education, said the Society President Suresh Bhattarai.

The theme for the event is ‘learning for the future’. The participants will present their scientific concepts and plans, while the conference will provide them with international participation in the future, he said.
