Two persons arrested in Lalita Niwas case released

KATHMANDU: Two people who were arrested in the Lalita Niwas case have been released.

SSP Dinesh Kumar Acharya of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) said that Ramesh Kumar Pokharel and Siddika Khetanhave been released.

Pokharel was released on bail as his health condition was deteriorating.

The CIB released Khetan saying that it did not see any role in the government land grabbing process.

He has about 8 annas of land in his name.

SSP Acharya said that he was released after he was willing to return the land to the government.
