SURKHET: Chief Minister of Karnali Province Raj Kumar Sharma today said development plays a key role in transforming society.
For transforming the society, the State must be action-oriented instead of focusing on process, he said at an event here in Birendranagar, Surkhet.
“The state is still lingering on the process instead of advancing towards sustainable development. Our ways of doing politics is also backward where a political party does not accept the existence of another.”
Karnali Province alone has the efficacy to support the entire country when water, forests, medicinal herbs, and other natural resources are properly utilized, he claimed.
He also stressed the need for implementing acts and rules made so far.
