Additional two arrests made in Lalita Niwas Land Scam



KATHMANDU: Two more individuals connected to the Lalita Niwas land grab case were apprehended by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Monday.

According to SSP Dinesh Acharya of the Bureau, the arrested individuals include former employees Ramesh Kumar Pokharel and Dev Narayan Maharjan.

Pokharel previously served as the head of Samarjung Company under the Ministry of Home Affairs, while Maharjan was temporarily in possession of Lalita Niwas.

Prior to this, three individuals were detained by the bureau on Sunday. The total number of arrests in the Lalita Niwas case has now reached nine.
