Bagmati Province Assembly meeting talking place today

HETAUDA: Bagmati Province Assembly meeting is taking place today.

The meeting scheduled to be held on Sunday evening was postponed and will be held today at 11 am.

The meeting for the fiscal year 2023/2024 could not be held on Sunday after the obstruction by the opposition party — CPN-UML.

Krishna Hari Khadka, Chief Secretary of the State Assembly Secretariat said that the meeting was postponed after the all-party meeting held on Sunday failed to reach an agreement on the budget.

Speaker of the State Assembly Bhuwan Pathak said that there is a possibility that the ruling party will reach an agreement with the opposition party today to end the dispute.
