Political parties in Dhanusha decide civic felicitation for President Paudel



JANAKPURDHAM: The political parties and civil societies in Dhanusha have decided to organize civic felicitation for President Ram Chandra Paudel.

The civic felicitation is scheduled for June 14.

An all-party meeting held today in Dhanusha Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided on the civic felicitation of the President, House of Representative (HoR) Member, and Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi said.

Nidhi said that all political parties have agreed in a motion to welcome the President in his visit to Janakpurdham after resolving the issue of statelessness of hundreds of thousands of youths by authenticating the citizenship amendment bill.

On the occasion, Madhesh Province Assembly Member Ramsaroj Yadav said that the province government would be asked to take the initiative to make President Paudel’s visit grand.

Deputy Mayor of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City Kishori Sah said that a main organizing committee and other sub-committees have been formed to offer felicitation to the President at Tirhutiyagachhi in Janakpurdham city.
