No govt dared to take slogan of prosperous Nepal ahead: UML chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that no other government has been able to carry the slogan of a ‘Prosperous Nepal and a Happy Nepali’ ahead.

Speaking at a program organized by the UML’s Science and Technology Department at the party office in Chyasal, Lalitpur on Saturday, he said that after the removal of his government, no one dared to carry the Sambridhdha Nepal, Sukhi Nepali agenda.

“After we left the government, no government, no prime minister, no leader, no one from our opposition dared to utter the word ‘Prosperous Nepal: Happy Nepali,” he said, adding, “How can one expect development and prosperity from the parties who have no guts to speak for prosperous Nepal?”

The UML chair also argued that they are advancing the agenda of prosperity to uplift the entire society, not an individual.
