Bagmati-level orientation to province assembly members today



KATHMANDU: An orientation to the Bagmati province assembly members is to be held today to emerge a common presidential candidate of the eight political parties, Ram Chandra Poudel, victorious to the post.

It may be noted that the ‘President Election Campaign Mobilization and Coordination Mechanism’ was formed and led by Nepali Congress Vice-President Purna Bahadur Khadka with representatives from other parties as members to vote for Poudel in the presidential election scheduled for March 9.

NC office chief secretary Krishna Poudel informed orientation program to the Bagmati province assembly members of all eight political parties would be held in Ananda Event, New Baneswor at 1.00 pm Friday.

According to the NC official sources, the central orientation program would be held in all provinces.

Earlier, the eight political parties had organized an orientation program for the House of Representatives and National Assembly members in the federal capital Kathmandu in the presence of top leaders.
