Passport-related all services obstructed due to technical issue



KATHMANDU: Passport distribution service has been obstructed today owing to a technical ‘system’ issue in the Department of Passport.

With the technical problem in the system, all the services related to passport have been halted, according to the Department.

Director of the Department, Durpada Sapkota, shared that it would take some times for the system to be fully operational. The Department also urged not to visit the Department to get passport from today until further notice as well as has apologized for the inconvenience caused.

Similarly, the Department requested the service recipients, who have already booked appointment date for passport application to visit the Department on the determined date.
