Government offices to close at 4 pm starting today

KATHMANDU: The daily service hours of government offices will be reduced by one hour, effective today.

With the winter season bringing shorter days, the government has mandated a 6-hour workday for a three-month period annually.

From November 2 to January 29, government offices will adhere to the new operating hours, running from 10 a.m. to 4 pm.

Consequently, government offices, which previously operated from 10 am to 5 pm, will now end work at 4 pm.
