Diagnostic center’s operator assaulted in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: An unidentified person lethally attacked the operator of the PK Diagnostic Centre in Pingalasthan, Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.

The spokesperson of Kathmandu District Police Range, SP Kumodh Dhungel told RSS that an unknown person attacked and injured Sabir Hussein, aged around 38, with a sharp-edged weapon.

Sabir is the younger brother of Sajan Hussein who has been operating the PK Diagnostic Centre at Pingalasthan in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9.

“Doctors involved in Sabir’s treatment also said sharp-edged weapon was used in the attack. A homemade pistol was found in the incident site. The assaulters are being searched”, SP Dhungel informed.

Injured Hussein is undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal, Dhungel shared.
