KATHMANDU: An incident unfolded in Gaushala, Kathmandu, on Monday as gunfire rang out, resulting in one person sustaining injuries.
Local authorities reported that an unidentified assailant opened fire on an individual in Gaushala on Monday, causing harm.
The wounded victim was promptly transported to Kathmandu Medical College, located in Sinamangal, for medical attention.
As of now, the identity of the injured individual has not been disclosed.
The perpetrator, in a hasty escape, abandoned the firearm at the scene.
Police are investigating the incident to apprehend the assailant and ascertain the motive behind the shooting.
