Six injured in Palpa jeep mishap

PALPA: Six passengers were injured in a jeep accident in Tansen- 12, Jorte, Palpa on
Saturday.

According to the District Police Office Palpa, Ba 16 Cha 4373 jeep, going from Butwal to Digam in Gulmi via Palpa, met with an accident at Jorte this morning.

All the injured have been sent to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas for treatment, two are in critical condition, the police said.

The accident took place on the Jorte-Luhung section of the Tansen bypass road.

Birendra Thapa, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Palpa, informed that the jeep fell about 50 meters down from the road.
