Maoist Center’s “Maoists with People” campaign starts today



KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center’s, “Maoist with People,” is starting today as part of the Maoist Special Transformation Campaign.

Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is scheduled to launch the campaign as part of the Maoist Special Transformation Campaign, beginning from Chandragiri Municipality-2 in Kathmandu.

This particular ward was previously won by the Maoists in the last local elections.

Chairman Dahal will inaugurate the campaign simultaneously in all the wards across the country through virtual means.

Over the course of this three-month campaign, leaders and workers are scheduled to visit each ward to provide information about the government’s ongoing initiatives and the Maoist Center’s plans.

As part of the program, the Maoists have already completed the first phase of preparatory meetings at the local level. The deployment of central officials for the campaign has also been finalized.

Chairman Dahal will visit Chandragiri Municipality, ward number 2 in Kathmandu.

Senior Vice Chairman Narayankaji Shrestha will be visiting Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality 28, Harishiddhi, while Vice Chairman Krishna Bahadur Mahara will be in Sunchahari Rural Municipality, Jelwang Rolpa.

Agni Sapkota, Vice Chairman of the Maoist Center, stated that they aim to reach at least 2.5 million voters during this campaign.
