Uddhav Thapa takes oath as Chief Minister of Koshi Province



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Chief Minister of Koshi Province Uddhav Thapa was officially sworn into office on Wednesday.

The oath of office and secrecy was administered to CM Thapa by Province Chief Parshuram Khapung in accordance with Article 168 (2) of the Constitution.

Furthermore, following Article 168 (9) of the Constitution, Province Chief Khapung also administered the oath of office and secrecy to the recently appointed ministers: Baburam Gautam as Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Pradip Kumar Sunuwar as Minister for Irrigation and Energy, and Kamal Prasad Jabegu as Minister for Physical Infrastructures Development.
