Will be ready to quit govt, but won’t desert campaign against corruption



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has briefed the party’s central committee meeting and declared that he is ready to quit the government but will never desert the campaign against corruption.

Presenting his report at the ongoing central meeting of the party at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, the Prime Minister briefed the leaders about the latest developments.

The Maoist Center Chairman said that the ruling alliance was getting stronger due to the good spirit of the government.

“The alliance is getting stronger,” he said, “because the government is doing good work, yet the attempts to entrap the government continues.”

Chairman Dahal affirmed that the formation of the Samajwadi Morcha had made it easier to work and announced that the campaign was for good governance and against corruption.

“We are ready to quit the government, but will not desert the campaign against corruption and for good governance,” he said.
