105 industries operating in Hetauda Industrial Area



HETAUDA: Altogether 105 industries of various types are running in Hetauda Industrial Area in Makawanpur district on a daily basis.

While 19 industries are being set up in the Area, 9 were shut down due to financial crisis, according to the Hetauda Industrial Area.

Area’s manager Bhojraj Binadi said that Area Police Office, Province Soil Testing Office, Food and Quality Control Office, Seeds Company and Nepal bank’s branch office among others are have been established within the Area to provide services to the consumers.

The industries operating in the Area have directly or indirectly provided employment to around 11,000 people, according to Binadi.

Binadis said that process to provide land to set up industries at Mayurdhap of Hetauda in the current fiscal year had been initiated.

The erstwhile government had established Hetauda Industrial Area in 2020 BS.

At present, 955 ropani has been allotted for the new industries and more applications for land were being submitted by the industries’ management.
