One nabbed for circulating fake currency



KATHMANDU: The Police have arrested one person from Lalitpur for circulating fake notes in the market.

According to the police sources, the arrested is a 42-year-old Pasang Bomjan alias Prashant, a permanent resident of Makawanpurgadhi-1, currently living in Imadol Lalitpur.

Based on the special information that fake currency is being circulated in various places in Kathmandu, the police arrested The police arrested Bomjan from Imadol, Lalitpur.

The police recovered 160 fake bills of Rs 500 worth 80,000 rupees from him.

Bomjan has been sent to District Police Range, Lalitpur for further investigation, police said.
