Shree Airlines announces suspension of all flights today

KATHMANDU: Shree Airlines has announced the suspension of all flights for today.

The decision comes as the airline intends to carry out technical inspections on all of its aircraft.

Anil Manandhar, the Corporate Manager of Shree Airlines, confirmed that all flights scheduled for Sunday have been suspended.

The airline has taken this step to conduct comprehensive technical tests on its entire fleet throughout the day, he said.

However, starting from Monday, all flights will resume their regular operations.

The suspension of flights follows a technical issue that occurred on Saturday at 3:30 pm, during a flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi.

Consequently, the aircraft bound for Dhangadhi was forced to return and land in Kathmandu.

In response to this incident, Shree Airlines has decided to conduct a thorough technical inspection of all its aircraft.
