UML leaders seek RSP’s support in presidential election

KATHMANDU: Leaders of CPN-UML held a meeting with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and sought the latter’s support in the Presidential election to be held on March 9.

UML Vice-Chairman Subash Nemwang, leaders Bishnu Paudel and Prithvi Subba Gurung met Lamichhane on Thursday afternoon and discussed contemporary politics.

Nemwang is also the presidential candidate from the party.

It has been learnt that the leaders discussed the presidential election, among other political issues.

According to RSP, the UML leaders sought Nepal’s support in the presidential election.
