BIRATNAGAR: The government of Koshi Province has announced a public holiday across the province today to celebrate the naming of the province.
The Provincial Assembly on Wednesday decided to name Province-1 as Koshi Province.
All government offices, public institutions, foundations and educational institutions within the province will remain closed today.
The provincial government has also congratulated the residents of the province for getting the name of the province.
