Peace process should conclude ensuring justice for victims: UML Chair Oli



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has reiterated concluding the long pending peace process in consensus ensuring justice to the victims of the conflict.

Speaking to reporters at the festival tea reception organized by his party at the central office in Chyasal on Wednesday, Chairman Oli said that the peace process should be concluded through consensus.

“The peace process should be concluded with consensus and should ensure justice to the victims as well,” he said.

The main opposition party leader in the parliament, Oli said that there was a discussion between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and himself on Wednesday morning to finalize the rest tasks of the peace process.

He also remarked that there is no bitterness between him and the Prime Minister.

“We were together with the Prime Minister early this morning, we were together a few moments before. One could easily notice from our facial expressions, bodily gestures, and cordiality that there has been no bitterness with Prime Minister Dahal,” Oli said.
