RSP ‘boycotts’ PM Dahal’s all-party meeting over market price hike

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced its intention to boycott the all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Sunday.

The RSP has accused the government of “imposing” price hikes during the festive season.

RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, using his Facebook platform, expressed his strong objection to the government’s price hikes during the festive season, stating, “We have a serious objection to the government’s price hike in the face of the festive season.”

He further announced, “As a protest, we have decided to boycott the meeting called by the Prime Minister on Sunday.”

Prime Minister Dahal had called the all-party meeting to discuss various matters, including the establishment of a high-level commission to investigate gold smuggling and other important issues.
