TANAHU: Dr. Shekhar Koirala, a central member of the Nepali Congress (NC), has expressed concern about the party facing attacks from various directions.

Addressing an event in Tanahu on Friday, he stressed the importance of collective efforts to counter these challenges.

Dr. Koirala remarked, “It’s imperative to repel these assaults in all forms, and this calls for unity within the Congress party.”

While acknowledging the possibility of not winning in the upcoming by-elections, he urged party members not to lose hope, highlighting Tanahu as the stronghold of the Congress.

He emphasized that party leadership should strive to foster unity.

He stated, “The nation is facing challenges in its economic, religious, cultural, and even diplomatic spheres. These issues can only be resolved with strong leadership within the Congress.”

Dr. Koirala recommended that a robust Nepali Congress presence in Tanahu would have a ripple effect on neighboring districts, underscoring the importance of unwavering leadership in the province.
