Lalitpur Metropolis making smart toilets for tourists in Patan Durbar area



LALITPUR: Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) has started construction of smart toilets for tourists in Patan Durbar area.

LMC Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan laid the foundation stone of the toilet.

Shree Kumar Maharjan, Head of Infrastructure Division and Senior Engineer of Lalitpur Metropolis, informed that there will also be a breastfeeding room in the toilet.

Stating that this toilet will be built in an ancient style, he said, “We will keep a breastfeeding room in one corner of the toilet.”

Maharjan informed that the toilets to be built by the metropolis will be disabled and senior citizens friendly so that the construction will be completed within 6 months.
