Man out for Yarsagumba hunt dies in Bajhang



BAJHANG: A person who went to pick Yarsagumba in Bajhang has died of altitude sickness.

District Police Office Bajhang DSP Jageshwar Bhandari informed that Kalak Bohora of Surma-3 Saungao, Bajhang died on Sunday evening after he fell ill due to a cold while being brought home.

Most of the people from the Himalayan districts of Darchula and Bajhang have now gone to the lake to pick up Yarsagumba.

Recently, Yarsagumba has become a source of income for the people here.
