Bedkot schools closed citing chilling cold



KANCHANPUR: All the academic institutions have been closed in Bedkot Municipality in Kanchanpur district citing chilling cold in the district in the past one week.

A meeting of the school headmasters asked to give holiday in the schools as the regular classes were badly affected due to excessive cold, Chief of Education Section at the municipality Manju Thapa said.

Thapa stated that winter vacation was announced as per the same demand. The schools here shall remain closed until January 16.

The headmasters had called a gathering seeking winter vacation after the students faced difficulties to come to the schools due to biting cold.
