KATHMANDU: CPN-UML KP Oli has commented that be it games or politics, the foul makers get punished.

Addressing the 14th foundation day of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy on Sunday, UML Chairman Oli, said hinting Nepali Congress that players who play foul in politics will be sent out with a red card.

Giving examples of world-famous players like Messi, Mbappe, Ronaldo, he said that even in politics, a player who plays foul cannot be a great player.

The UML Chair mentioned that playing fair the Chairman of CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ became the Prime Minister and the NC, for the fouls, is out of the ring of power.

“The players have to follow the coach’s instructions. If you don’t accept that, there will be no game. A good player is one who follows discipline. A good player hits the post. A bad player kicks another player’s leg. A foul player cannot be a great player,” Chairman Oli said, adding, “The society we need is a society that does not commit foul. Fouls should not be played in politics either. If you play a foul, you will be sent out with a yellow card, sometimes even a red card. To be successful, you have to be disciplined and play in a fair manner.”

He also said that it will take some time to expand the cabinet. The UML chair said that there is no sports minister now and the cabinet will be expanded after a few days.
