Nepal sees six new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of six new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Of the confirmed cases, all nine cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 887 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the total samples 436 were tested through RT-PCR and 451 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 522 active cases in the country as 36 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
