Maoist Center unveils election manifesto

To set up a high-level commission to investigate assets of senior officials



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center made its election manifesto public on Monday.

The Maoist Center made public its programs to be held after November 20 election organizing a press conference at its central office in Paris Danda, Kathmandu.

The declaration made public includes the issue of setting up a high-level commission to investigate the assets of senior officials.

The commitment paper mentions the establishment of a National Employment Authority to solve the unemployment problem.

Similarly, the Maoist Center has suggested a presidential system to ensure political stability, periodic stability of the government, and prosperity.

The Maoist Center’s pledge made public by party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda proposed to form a provincial assembly focused only on the legislative sector, with a directly elected provincial chief and a cabinet led by the provincial chief at the federal level.
