Kyrgyzstan citizen held with illegal $10,000 from TIA



KATHMANDU: A citizen of Kyrgyzstan has been arrested with nearly 10 thousand United States dollars, the source of which could not be determined, from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Police seized 9,500 USD from Narina Dokturvekova (passport number 2962899), who was about to board Fly Dubai flight from Kathmandu.

Narina was detained by the security personnel from the handbag checking area of ​​the airport.

Police are investigating the issue further after the arrest.
