NEPSE declines by 35.53 points Tuesday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has declined for the second day in a row after the government brought the budget for the coming fiscal year 2022/23. The market, which declined by 35.53 points on Tuesday, stopped at 2137.92 points.

Even on Monday, the market had declined by more than 50 points.

Share prices of all subgroups except mutual funds declined on Tuesday. Investors in non-life insurance companies have lost the most.

A total of 37,69,812 shares of 229 companies were traded through 27,519 transactions on Tuesday. A total of Rs 1.31 billion were transacted on this day.

The share price of Upkaar Microfinance rose the most by 8.23 ​​percent to Rs 1,475.80 on Tuesday.

The share price of Nepal Investment Bank has dropped the most by 9.98 percent today. In terms of turnover, NIC Asia Bank had the highest turnover on Tuesday.
