NEPSE records double digit loss on Thursday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index registered double digits loss on Thursday, the last trading day of this week, with the total turnover limited below Rs 2 billion..

The NEPSE index, has dropped by 23.95 points to 2,544.30 points. The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also declined by 5.72 points.

The total turnover throughout the day was less than Rs 2 billion. A total of 1,792,891 shares of 215 scrips were traded via 21,007 transactions today.

The market had risen by more than 40 points yesterday after continuous downward trend in past days.
