Nepal Army announces 4,000 vacancies



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army (NA) has announced vacancies for 4,000 posts under various categories.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, the NA has announced 20,98 vacancies under open category, 358 under women category,  572 under indigenous nationalities category, 505 under Madhesi, 272 under Dalit and 85 under backward region categories.

Similarly, 110 seats have been reserved for descendants of the soldiers.

Candidates with an eight class pass degree attaining 18 years of age and without crossing 22 years can apply by April 29 starting today.

In case of men, a candidate must be at east  5 feet and 3 inches tall with 50 kg weight and chest size should be 32 inches (without expansion) and 34 inches (with expansion).

Similarly, minimum 5-feet height and 40 kg weight are the requirements for a female candidate, according to the notice issued by the Nepal Army headquarters.
