KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the third match under the tri-nation twenty20 international series on Thursday.

The match between host team Nepal and PNG will take place at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 12:30 pm.

Nepal intends to reach the final ahead of one match by defeating PNG today.

In the first match of the series, Nepal had defeated PNG by 15 runs and it wants to maintain its consecutive win even today.

Similarly, it had defeated Malaysia by six wickets on Wednesday to climb atop the points table with four points from two consecutive wins.

On the other hand, PNG is at the bottom with no points so far. Similarly, Malaysia is in the second position with two points from one win from two matches.
