Govt decides to promote Joint Secretary Dangal



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to promote Finance Ministry’s Joint Secretary Rameshwor Dangal to the post of Secretary.

A cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar Monday decided to promote Joint Secretary Dangal among others.

A meeting chaired by Public Service Commission Chairman Madhav Prasad Regmi on Sunday had recommended the government to promote several joint secretaries. Joint Secretary Dangal figured on the top of the list followed by joint secretaries Mukunda Prasad Niraula and Binod Prakash Singh at the second and the third places respectively.

Joint Secretary Dangal served as the spokesperson for the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) before his transfer to the Ministry of Finance. He is considered a competent official in the administration sector.
