NC should demonstrate flexibility to retain alliance: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has reiterated that the five-party alliance would continue until the elections to the House of Representatives.

He said the possibility of forming another alliance looks slim.

“The question concerning the future of the alliance is relevant. This five-party alliance will continue until the upcoming elections,” Prachanda said.

He, however, said that the Nepali Congress (NC) should be more liberal while allotting the seats in such a way that every party in the alliance is satisfied.

“NC should not impose its decisions when it comes to allocation of seats,” Prachanda said.

He further stated that he was not immediately in favor of forming a Socialist Center.
