CoAS Sharma visits US National Defense University in Washington



KATHMANDU: A delegation led by Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Prabhuram Sharma visited the National Defense University (NDU) in Washington on Wednesday.

On the occasion, General Sharma had a meeting with Commandant Brigadier General Jeff Hurlbert of National War College (NWC).

He also sought information from officials at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies on a variety of aspects, including education, activities, and training.

Chief of Army Staff Sharma, who is on a goodwill visit to the United States, is scheduled to hold talks with the Pentagon and senior US military officials at the Pentagon.

According to the Nepalese Embassy in the United States, he will discuss military cooperation and the expansion of cooperation between Nepal and the United States military.

According to the Embassy, ​​Chief of Army Staff Sharma will leave for New York on Thursday where he is scheduled to meet with UN officials.
