19 people fall sick while eating wild mushrooms in Rupandehi

RUPANDEHI: Nineteen people in Butwal have fallen ill after consuming wild mushrooms.

Among them, six are in critical condition.

The seriously sick are Rina BK, Kamala BK, Supriya BK, Bishnu BK, 38, Durga BK, and Hum Bahadur BK, 50, of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 12, said Butwal Area Police Office Chief Thug Bahadur KC.

They fell sick after eating mushrooms brought from the forest on Wednesday.

All of them were unconscious when they were brought to the hospital, according to the hospital source.
