Proposal on waste management and physical infrastructure ambulances



KATHMANDU: Newly elected Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah has proposed to run garbage management and physical infrastructure ambulances.

In the first Executive Meeting of KMC held after assuming office on Monday, Mayor Shah proposed to manage the garbage of Kathmandu and fill the potholes and drainage as soon as possible.

He said that two physical infrastructure ambulances should be started immediately among the executive members and a call center should be set up to address the problems of the metropolis residents.

The first Executive Meeting was held after the people’s representatives, including Mayor Shah and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol, took oath of office. The meeting was broadcast live as per the first decision of Mayor Shah.
