Class 12 exam begins across country from today



KATHMANDU: The examination for class 12 has commenced across the country from today.

The examination is being conducted from 8 am to 11 am according to the changed time.

Board Chairperson Dr Mahashram Sharma informed that the grade 12 exams have peacefully commenced in 1,292 exam centers of all 77 districts since 8.00 am this morning.

According to Sharma, about 415,000 examinees are participating in the exams this year.

Questions were sent online to all exam centers half an hour before the examination commenced, he said.

Arrangement has been made to make photocopy of the questions and distribute to the examinees, he shared.

Due to all-pervasive effects COVID-19 pandemic during last two years, the online arrangement was made to send the questions to the home centers of students. The same arrangement has been adopted this year as well.

Meanwhile, the Board has called for all stakeholders and citizens to help conduct the examination in a peaceful, dignified and well-managed manner.

The examinations will be conducted till June 8.
